Here is my layout.

I used the colours as the inspiration as well as the white title. I also added fibres to represent the bristles.
Using a coordinated paper range from Crate Papers, which included the frame and strips made putting it together easy.
Here's how.
I simply:
- Cut my cardstock to size.
- Framed the photo behind the frame and attached it to the layout.
- Cut a frame from a transparency using the Cricut machine. I cut a silhouette square to get this look.
- Sewed the frame to the page using running stitch. Notice how I repeated the stitches around the frame.
- Sewed some more stitches to the frame.
- Doodled a flourish either side of the flower on the frame and then sewed this. This is an easy way to borrow the fantastic artwork done by graphic designers. Now you can see I sewed it you are led to think, by the sewing, that I drew those flowers too. Cool hey!
- Cut my title out using the Cricut machine. I trimmed all extra cross strokes off the font to keep it clean and simple like on the brush.
- Added dots on the letters and then put Dimensional Magic on top.
- Cut the strips of paper to look like ribbon and lined them up. To finish the look I simply stapled them on.
- Added DM to the dots under the photo to repeat that look somewhere else on the page.
You could make this layout yours by:
- Aligning everything to the left rather than the right.
- Using ribbon instead of paper.
- Using rub ons on your frame.
- Using chipboard for your title.
- Adding some journaling.
- Using buttons instead of DM dots.
